Cooking -- June 15, 2010

We had a fun cooking class at a new location. Eight ladies including three newcomers
joined us. We made two different kinds of sushi rolls, traditional makizushi and California rolls. It was quite a challenge but they did a good job. We had black sesame ice cream for dessert. Delicious!!

Hikari School -- June 10, 2010

The last lesson of this term was held. First we did traditional 'kumihimo', cord making. It was the final lesson for three ladies, who received certificates of completion after taking simple tests.
At the end of the lesson eight children joined us and we had a
picture taken.
